Abstract: Worldwide,the shale oil resources are mainly distributed in Russia,the United States,China,Argentina,and Libya and other countries.The recoverable resources of the shale oil in China rank the third in the world.The United States and Canada are the countries of big shale oil production.Due to the evolution of shale oil development core technology,relevant supporting policies and measures of auxiliary function,after the shale gas revolution,the development of shale oil boom has been lifted in the United States.The "well factory" development mode has realized the safety of shale gas reservoirs,economic and efficient development,which promotes the rapid development of shale oil.As for shale oil development in China,stimulus is needed in science and technology innovation and the fiscal and taxation policies.
