Abstract:
With special surface conditions and complex and variable surface structure, the seismic data collected in paralic zones have a variety of special interference waves(such as pseudo single frequency, ghost wave, etc.), and therefore, there exists certain differences in seismic data processing process compared with conventional data processing. In this paper, the formation mechanism, characteristics of pseudo single frequency interference, the basic principle and flow of adaptive noise canceller technique are discussed. The technique is applied to the processing of 2 D OBC(submarine cable) seismic data in paralic zones. The application results show that adaptive noise canceller(ANC) technique can effectively eliminate pseudo single frequency interference without damaging the effective waves, thus improving the quality of seismic data.
