Abstract: This paper analyzes the downhole drilling accidentshappened in Yanqi Basin in Xinjiang Autonomous Regionover the past two years,sums up the causcs of severalserious downhole accidents and the lessons and experiencegained, dicusses the problems existing in accidentsettlement, and presents the preventive measures andproposals for preventing downhole accidents.
