Abstract: This paper expounds the importance and economic benefits of science and technology information search,points out the requirements of searching system to operators and users, analyzes conunon problems encountered in searching, and makes suggestions on further improving information resources, strengthening propaganda of searching contents and devoting much altention to the training of users.
