Abstract: China entering WTO will have great effects on the upstream business (oil and gas exploration and development), oil refining and chemical engineering enterprises, petroleum marketing system and petroleum technical service and trade. This paper analyzes these influences, expounds the development opportunity for petroleum and petrochemical industry and presents corresponding solutions.
