Abstract:
For high gas and liquid ratio wells(such as carbon dioxide flooding wells), the conventional oil pump production is seriously affected by gas effect and low pump efficiency. Therefore, different types of anti-gas pumps are developed for domestic oilfields. The typical types, such as strong open and closed anti-gas pumps, ring valve type anti-air pumps, long column plug type anti-gas pumps and so on, are used in field test. The results show that the gas effect is greatly solved and the pump efficiency is improved. However, up to now, there is no systematic test and evaluation for the different types of anti-gas pumps, especially the air and liquid ratio limits are not determined, which undoubtedly brings difficulties and inconvenience to the selection of anti-gas pumps for high gas and liquid ratio oil wells, which affects the field application level and effect of anti-gas technology. Based on the numerical simulation method of CFD(computational fluid dynamics software), the systematic evaluation and analysis on the adaptability of three kinds of mainstream anti-gas pumps are carried out, and the application boundary of the technology is clarified, which provides the necessary guidance and reference for the field application management.
