Abstract: This paper introduces the structure and operation mechanism of the inclined well pump with sand exclusion, which can makes up the defects of sand-blocked and plunger-jammed and eliminates the problem of sucker rod occurred in ordinary pumps.This is because it has the devices such as long plunger,short pump barrel,reten- tion device and sand-settling device.The application re- sult of sand producer in Xi'ermen oilfield shows that this kind of pump can effectively prevent the pump from wear- ing out and sand-jammed,reduce the dropouts of sucker rod and prolong the service life of it.
