Abstract: Djrectional well and cluster wells drilling techniquesare applied in Yanqi Basin of Henan Oilfield,and haveyielded notable economic and social benefits. Someexperience and lessons are gained in application. Thispaper summerizes the rules to control the trajectories ofdirectional wells and cluster wells in Yanqi Basin and thenew understanding of application of these drillingtechniques which can be used as a reference in applicationof other new drilling technologies.
