Abstract: This paper introduces a quantitative fluorescence logging technology and its application in the following aspects: elimination of contamination of oil - bearing mud; discovery of light oil (evaluation of paleo- buried hill formations. Real application shows that the quantitative fluorescence tool has high sensitivity and practical analytical software, which raise the application value of fluorescence logging.
