Abstract: Long range infrared coating is a special thermal insu-lation coating for increasing radiation intensity of insulating b arrier of furnace.Several experiments in the secondary re-covery company in He nan Oilfield Company showed that a long range infrared coating on the inner wall of steam in-jection furnace can improve thermal efficiency of furnace by a big margin,and save large amount of fuel,thus the economic benefits are remarkab le.
