Abstract: Energy-saving economic operation of equipments is one of the ways to increase enterprise economic benefits and change extensive management into intensive management. It have great effects on effective energy utilization rate of enterprises. This paper introduces the concept and significances of energy-saving economic operation, performs function analysis of the objects of energy--saving economic operation with function analytical methods of value engineering, and presents the influential factors and conditions and ways to carry out energy-saving economic operation of equipments. The core is equipments, the key is control and the goal is increasing effective utilization rate of energy.
