Abstract: Based on the investment and operation cost of heavy oil huff and puff in Henan oilfield and in combination with the characteristics of huff and puff recovery,a simple and practical formula for calculating economic limit cumulative production of single well is developed by using dynamic fi-nancial net present value method.After the relevant pa-rameters are rationally determined,the economic limit cu-mu lative production of heavy oil reservoirs under huff and puff in Henan oilfield are estimated,so as to provide eco-nomic limit parameters for development adj ustment in old thermal recovery blocks and for the utilization of super-thin h eavy oil layers.It can be used to guide the economic and rational development of heavy oil reservoirs and to further enhance the utilization factor of resourc e in thermal recov-ery blocks.
