An Analysis on Hydrocarbon Generation Potential in Tazhong Uplift and Neighboring Tanggubazi Depression

  • 摘要: 塔中隆起南坡钻井油气显示级别低,塘参1井烃源岩丰度指标又不能客观反映凹陷的生烃潜力,油源问题一直困扰塔中南坡油气的勘探。为此,从塔里木盆地烃源岩的区域演化、沉积相与有机质丰度的密切关系,提出海相碳酸盐岩有机碳评价下限为0.3%;认为塔中隆起及邻区塘古孜巴斯凹陷存在寒武系-下奥陶统和中上奥陶统二套优质烃源岩。其中,寒武系-下奥陶统烃源岩为广盆沉积,属中-好烃源岩;中上奥陶统呈局域性分布,有机碳平均在0.500-0.947%之间,属中等级以上烃源岩。

     

    Abstract: The grade of oil and gas shows in exploratory wells in the south slop of Tazhong uplift is low and the abundance index of source rock in the parameter well Tang - 1 cannot reflect the hydrocarbon generation potential in this depression, therefore oil sources are the unsolved problems that impeding exploration in this area. The lower limit of organic carbon in marine carbonate is set at 0. 3% according to regional evolution of source rock in Tarim basin and the relationship between sedimentary facies and organic abundance. It is believed that there exist two sets of source rocks of high quality in Tazhong uplift and the neighboring Tanggubazi depression including the Cambrian - Lower Ordovician and the Middle and Upper Ordovi-cian. The former belongs to medium- good source rock, while the latter has an averaged organic carbon ranging from 0. 500% to 0. 947% and belongs to medium or better source rock.
