Abstract: Neogene strata of Bohai Lvda block is loose and of high gravel content,which led to low drilling core recovery.Through characteristics research of the reservoir lithology and its effect on drilling core recovery,the core drilling bit,coring tools,core drilling and coring process parameters have been preferably selected,and the coring drilling technology of loose conglomerate of Bohai Lvda block formation has been formed.The technology application results in LD5-2N-2 well show the coring footage is 204.00 m,the coring length is 166.60 m,with average recovery rate of 81.7%.The technology can improve the drilling core recovery and be of good application prospect.
