Abstract: In view of the problems of quick water breakthrough,low recovery ratio by using vertical wells to develop in Niuxintuo buried hill reservoir,based on the evaluation of reservoir stratas,geology system is reconstructed.With the method of reservoir engineering and numerical simulation,water flooding system by horizontal wells is determined.Horizontal wells in different depth can achieve oil development in scope.At present 2 horizontal wells are implemented in the trial development.Oil production of horizontal wells is two and half times that of vertical wells.Injectivity coefficient of injecting horizontal well is as far as 4.3 that of vertical wells.The result is referenced by other buried hill reservoir.
