川南威荣气田深层页岩气水平井钻头优选及应用

Bit optimization and application of deep shale gas wells in Weirong gas field of southern Sichuan basin

  • 摘要: 威荣气田地质条件复杂、地层老、可钻性差。分析前期钻头应用效果及存在的问题,结合建立的地层岩石可钻性剖面,应用钻头设计理论,优选适合的钻头型号,确定适合本区块的钻头关键技术:一开沙溪庙组~新田沟组地层适合攻击性强的5刀翼钢体PDC(聚晶金刚石复合片)钻头;二开陆相地层推荐使用耐磨性强的6刀翼胎体PDC钻头,海相地层以6刀翼钢体PDC为主,在部分高研磨性地层采用混合钻头;三开造斜段使用6刀翼、短保径定向PDC钻头,提高工具面稳定性;水平段使用5刀翼、长保径PDC钻头。现场应用表明,与前期平均指标相比,钻速提高1倍以上。

     

    Abstract: Weirong gas field has complex geological conditions, old strata and poor drill-ability. Based on the analysis of the application effect and existing problems of drill bits in the early stage, combined with the established strata rock drill-ability profile, the design theory of drill bits is applied to optimize the suitable type of drill bits and determine the key technology of drill bits suitable for this block. The five-blade steel PDC(poly-crystalline diamond composite) bits suitable for the formations of Kaishaximiao formation and Xintiangou formation, and the wear-resisting bits are recommended for the continental formations. The 6-blade matrix PDC bits with strong performances are mainly 6-blade steel PDC bits used in marine strata, and mixed bits are used in some high abrasive strata; 6-blade and short diameter-preserving directional PDC bits are used in the third construction slope section to improve tool surface stability; 5-blade and long diameterpreserving PDC bits are used in the horizontal section. Field application shows that the penetration rate is increased by more than one-fold compared with the previous average index.
