Abstract: Integrative development of upstream and downstream is a new challenge with which onshore petroleum industry is faced. In order to search for the way of lightening the burden of oilfields under socialist market econ0mic conditions, provide sufficient fund for exploration and development,and find succeeding industries of high efficieney, this paper discusses the advantages of the downstream industries of Zhongyuan oilfield,the resource prospects, developmental direction and reasonable construction scale, and analyzes the problems in developing downstream industries.
