Abstract: This paper introduces the present application situation, as well as research results and various types of pour point depressant in our country, makes a comprehensive review on its mechanism and provides good suggestion for future research: 1) strengthen the mechanism research; 2) develop new applicable ones in a wider range, such as low temperature pour point depressant; 3) combine its research with oil transferring technique.
