An Opinion on Oil and Gas Exploration in Bayanhaote Basin

  • 摘要: 巴彦浩特盆地是叠置在贺兰坳拉槽与河西走廊过渡带上的一个大地构造位置特殊、地质条件复杂的含油气盆地。目的层石炭系是一套海陆交互相含煤地层,烃源岩煤系泥岩、碳质泥岩、煤层均具有腐殖Ⅲ型性质、ⅡB型产烃能力。其北部的锡林-阿左旗坳陷与毗邻的鄂尔多斯盆地西缘逆冲构造带,从早期坳拉糟到晚期冲断-褶皱发生断裂、圈闭构造等有一定的成生关系,尽管其地质条件并不完全相同,但可资借鉴。进一步搞清盆地目的层构造面貌,重视成盆、成烃、成藏等地质基础研究,是该盆地选择有利勘探目标和寻找油气田的关键。

     

    Abstract: Bayanhaote basin, overlapping on the transitional zone between Helan aulacogen and Hexi corridor, is an oil and gas-bearing basin with special tectonic location and complex geologic conditions. The target, Carboniferous, is a set of coal measure mudstones of continental-oceanic interactive facies, the source rock consisted of coal measure mudstone, carbonaceous mudstone and coal stone have the characteristics of type Ⅲ kerogen and the hydrocarbon -generation capability of type ⅡB kerogen. Although the geologic conditions of the Silin--Azuoqi depressions in north of the basin are not quite the same as that of the thrust belt on the west margin of the neighboring Eerduosi basin, they have certain genetic relationship in respects of the aulacogen in the early stage, fracturing of thrust folds in the late stage and trap structures, thus the later can be used for reference. The key to selection of favorable. exploration targets and oil and gas exploration is further recognizing the structural features of the targets and attaching importance to basic geologic research of basin formation, hydrocarbon generation and reservoir genesis.
