Abstract: Research and development of sandstone acidizing design models abroad are introduced in this paper. The latest achievements scince 1990s include lumped parameter model, distribution parameter model," two -acid and three-mineral" model, generalized geochemical model,matrix acidizing real time monitoring and evaluation softwares, expert system for matrix acidizing design optimization, geochemical reaction - transfer simulator for matrix acidizing analysis and design, long core acidizing process and etc.
