Abstract: Polymer Flooding is a common tertiary oil recovery method to enhance oil recovery, but the cost is high and oil displacement efficiencies in different types of reservoirs vary greatly. Thus feasibility stud j of polymer flooding projects is critical. The followings are studied: oil displacement efficiency and producing reserves, surface engineering investments and effects and economic evaluation. Polymer flooding is an effective way to enhance oil recovery and has a bright prospect in deployment.
