Abstract: In order to improve the development effect at Shen 84 block,the fine reservoir description was carried out and 18 Class 4 faulted blocks are evaluated and their potentials are analyzed in accordance with their catalogue.,The formation,structure,sedimentary microfacies,oil distribution features and development effect are analyzed and evaluated for the target interval in the whole area;thus potential blocks are optimized by establishing geological model by combining with multidisciplinary subjects and various techniques,numerical simulation and remaining oil distribution.Consequently,the countermeasures for improving development effects are pro-posed.
