Abstract: This paper briefly reviews the works of opening up international drilling market by Henan oilfield, analyzes the achievements and problems, presents the measures to solve these problems. It is believed that opening up international drilling market is in conformity with the development strategy of China and petroleum and petrochemical industries. Well equipments and rational disposition are the basis for drilling operation of high quality, a sound logistic support system is the guarantee for raising 'drilling efficiency and qualified technicians having a good command of professional knowledge, management and English are the key to be competent in the international drilling market.
