Logging identification and evaluation of tight sandstone gas reservoirs of 1~(st) member of Xiashihezi formation in Dingbei area

  • In order to effectively and accurately identify and evaluate the tight sandstone gas reservoirs, constrained by the geological conditions, through the ‘four properties' relation analysis, the lithology, physical property, electric property and gas-bearing property between the corresponding well logging response characteristics of the curve to tight sandstone gas reservoir of in 1~(st) member of Xiashihezi formation in Dingbei area was analyzed. The results indicated the lithology, the granularity and the pore structure were the main influencing factors of reservoir properties and the gas bearing property, the lithology controlled the properties and the physical properties controlled the hydrocarbon content. By using SEC engraving method and three porosity combination method, the comprehensive logging identification and the evaluation of tight sandstone gas reservoir in 1~(st) member of Xiashihezi formation were carried out, and the gas reservoirs were divided into three categories.
