Discussion for Origin Hydrocarbon Potential of the Central Uplift in Bayanhaote Basin

Bayanhaote basin is a vertical complex basin which was superimposed on Alxa massif. Its central uplift with better hydrocarbon potential result from multistage tectonic movement. Its favorable hydrocarbon accumulation belt and trap types include extentional fault block traps in the northern, compresional anticlinal traps in the southern and stratigraphic unconformity traps in the eastern.
