Influential factors of viscosity of polymer solution for oil displacement

  • This paper studies the influences of temperature, salinity, pH, stirring rate, stirring time and manufacturing parameters on viscosity of polymer solution according to the status of polymer flooding in Gudong oilfield. Polymer solutions made up at a pH between 7 and 9, a temperature between 10 and 1℃, and a stirring rate under 80 r/min have relatively high viscosity. When the content of Nal + is below 200mg · L-1, content of Ca2+ and Mg2+ below 100 mg · L-1 and content of Fe3+ below 20 mg · L-1, retention rate of viscosity of polymer solution can be easily improved Dissolution oxygen has relatively large influences on viscosity of HPAM solution.
