Control of Sequence Stratigraphic Boundary in Structural Slop Break Zone on Hydrocarbon Accumulation

Beginning with the significance of sequence bound-ary in structural slop break zone in respects of sedimen-tology,geohistory and petroleum geology,this paper stud-ies the kinetic depositional conditions of subtle reservoirs though analyzing the development mechanism of subtle reservoirs above and below the sequence boundary.The distribution pattern of oil and water layers in the reser-voirs are researched at fluid flow unit level through ana-lyzing the interior structure of subtle reservoirs above and below the sequence boundary.It is concluded that high-resolution sequence boundary in structural slope break zone is a favorable hydrocarbon accumulation zone.
