An analysis of potentials to improve lifting efficiency of submersible electric pump in Chengdao oilfield

Abstract
Present situation of energy consumption of the submersible electric pump wells in Chengdao oilfield is analyzed. Beginning with the power of motor, throw of electric pump and pump setting depth, etc. , the power loss of each component of the submersible electric pump is estimated, and the power of each component and the lifting efficiency variations of the submersible electric pump are compared. The potentials of saving energy and lowering consumption are analyzed. Implementation of the optimum scheme can improve the lifting efficiency and lower the energy consumption.
