High Pressure Layer Plugging Technologies in Lower Part of High Water-cut Producers

Occurrence of high pressure layers with high water content at the lower part increases the complexity of me-chanical plugging in Shuanghe oilfield,an oilfield at its late development stage with super-high water-cut.The success rate of mechanical plugging operation decreases,effective period is shortened and cost is high.Combina-tion of drillable tubing conveyed bridge plug with cement plug is proposed for use in this oilfield.Field application in three producers shows that the technology has the ad-vantages of low cost,simple field operation,high plugging success rate,high reliability and long effective period.It has successfully plugged the high-pressure aquifers in the deep portion of producers in this oilfield.
