An Analysis and Treatment of Energy Con-sumption of Water Injection System in the Third Production Company in Zhongyuan Oilfield

Energy consumption of the water injection system in the third production company in Zhongyuan oilfield is large with the high-pressure centrifugal pumps,waste water treatment and high pressure stimulation pumps to-gether consum ing95.5%of the total energy.The main causes are low efficiency operation of high pressure pumps,long distance transfer of produced water,large energy consumption of water distribution valve set and scale buildup in the main pipeline.These problems are solved through reconstruction of the injection stimulation station,pumping sewage directly into water treatment system and improving sewage-transferring pumps.
