Study on oil/water interfacial dilatational viscoelasticity of typical polymer solution

  • With the use of Trackr,a fully automatic droplet interface tensiometer,the study on the effect of polymer types and water quality on the polymer solution and the interfacial dilatational viscoelasticity of dodecane has been carried out.The study results indicate the dynamic interfacial tension of polymer solution and dedecane,which is widely used at present,is 32~34 mN/m.The interface adhesion elastic membrane formed between the polymer solution and the dodecane is mainly of elasticity,and the elastic modulus is three times more than viscous modulus.The active components and salt content of the polymer solution can decrease the elastic modulus of the interface extension,and it plays a complicated role in viscous modulus of the interface extension.
