Radial direction drilling in heavy oil reservoir of deep and low permeability

This paper is based on Luo 9 deep and low permeability heavy oil reservoir to predict the development effect of taking the radial drilling technology and without it by using numerical simulation,and analyzes factors of influencing yield-increasing effect,including drilling angle,drilling length and drilling position.Research results show that the development effect is improved obviously after taking radial drilling.The optimal drilling angle is 180 degrees,the optimal drilling length is 100 m,the production of drilling in the middle oil reservoir is highest and development effect is best.
