The Technique of Restoration and Modification of Radiation Wells

  • The main cause of reduction of aquifer yield in a radiation well is that seepage paths are not clear.Following aspects show it f bottomhole filter layer is blocked, radiant tubes get rusty etc. Measures of solvingthese problems include relaying bottomhole filter layer, increasing the number of radiant tubes or elongating radianl tubes, and repairing seepage holes etc. Through restoration and modification, aquifer yield can increase by sevcral times. An abandoned well can be put into production again at the cost of 1/3 - 1/5 of the investment needed to drill a new well.
