Feasibility Study of Steamflooding after Huff and Puff in Millers in Super—heavy Oil Reservoirs and Field Test

  • The main geologic features of super - heavy oil reservoirs in Henan oilfield are analyzed. The changes of reservoir conditions after huff and puff in infillers and the recovery conditions of Steamflooding are comprehensivelystudied. In viewing that heat loss in thin layers is large, the feasibility of Steamflooding in shallow super - heavy oil reservoirs is studied in respects of the forming process of normal Steamflooding and the favorable conditions of low- pressure Steamflooding. It is concluded that recovery factor will further increase by 18. 4 - 27. 5 percentage point through Steamflooding in these reservoirs. The good effects of field intermittent Steamflooding experiment show that Steamflooding in these reservoir is viable.
