Application of 3-D fluorescent logging technique for distinguishing oil property in Shengli Oilfields

  • Because of its superiority in sensitivity,upper detection limit,optional range of excitation wavelength and transmis- sion wavelength,graph spectrum manifestation and abundant parameter information,the 3-D fluorescent logging tech- nique offsets some defects and shortages of the 2-D fluores- cent logging technology.After the research,popularization and preliminary application of the 3-D fluorescent logging technique,its technologic principle and characters are under- stood.Through the comparative study on a large quantity of 3-D fluorescent data and production test results,a standard is established that utilizes the optimal excitation wavelength, the optimal transmission wavelength,the index for oiliness and other 3-D fluorescent parameters to evaluate the oil property.Meanwhile.it is also summarized that different oil properties have different spectrogram characters.The appli- cation results in Shengli Oilfields suggest that the 3-D fluo- rescent logging technology is of unique technology advantage and of favorable application prospect in distinguishing oil properties.
