Numerical simulation of hydrocarbon resources in Upper Paleozoic of Ordos basin

In order to exactly evaluate the hydrocarbon resources in Upper Paleozoic of Ordos basin, petroleum system has been introduced into basin stimulation, which can make sure basic parameters of basin simulation. With the BASIM 4. 5 software, hydrocarbon resources of the Upper Paleozoic in Ordos basin was simulated, a large a-mount of reliable reservoir data has been received. On the basis of these data, the distribution feature of hydrocarbon generated in the plane is further analyzed. The result shows the northern part of Yishan slope is the main exploration region of Ordos Basin, which is coherent with the gas exploration situation in Ordos Basin at present
