Opportunity and challenge of intelligent completion technique in China

From the discussion on the character,structural composition and purpose of intelligent completion technique and by combination with the present progress in the oil field development in non-marine oil fields,the opportunity and challenge of intelligent completion technique in China are analyzed at the aspects of technology,oil pool setting and cost. It is pointed that the intelligent well technique is in line with the present trend of oil field performance in China.While the foreign advanced technique is introduced,critical components are manufactured,which provides a basis for the extensive use in China.
