Progress in high-resolution processing technique of logging curve

High - resolution processing technique of well logging curve is a technique which can increase vertical resolution and radial resolution of conventional logging curves by some ma thematic methods, remove the effect of the adjacent rock, well bore and drilling fluid, enhance the a- bility of vertical stratification of logging curves, and recover the actual value of the reservoir logging parameters. In this paper, the principles of four kinds of high resolution processing technology, such as vertical resolution matching technique, deconvolution technique, inversion technique of log and wavelet analysis technique of log have been illustrated. Besides that, the paper introduces in detail the application of high resolution processing technique in exploration and development of thin bed, and discusses the problems to be solved and the future development trend.
