Argillaceous Hydrocarbon Reservoir Distribution Patterns and Petroleum Prospecting in Bohai Gulf Basin

Argillaceous hydrocarbon reservoirs in Bohai gulf basin,as a kind of unconventional hydrocarbon-bearing pool,have the following distribution characteristics:(1)they are distributed in mature source rock and source rock and reservoir rock are in the same layer;(2)argillaceous reservoirs are mainly located in the over-pressured microfracture zone;(3)they are controlled mainly by structural activities.It is believed that the de-velopment of argillaceous reservoirs has something to do with miscible shove and that fracturing is the key cause of parallel directional enrichment of hydrocarbon based on simulation test of primary migration of hydrocarbon and the relevant theories.The main techniques for ex-ploration of argillaceous reservoirs are discussed in this paper.
