Application of Television Imaging Logging Technique in Oilfield Development

Television imaging logging technique, including visible television imaging logging and supersonic imaging logging, can perform 360 degree scanning of well sidewall and casing with great accuracy. The logging data can be used in formation interpretation, structure and geologic stress analysis, detection of corrosion, puncturing and deformation of casing, verification of tile quality of cementing and perforation. All these can provide reliable decision basis for workover treatment of producers and water injectors. Television imaging logging technique has the advantages of high accuracy, low cost and extensive applicability, thus has bright application prospect.
