    Abstract
  • Based on study of diagenesis of the Upper Shaximiao Formation(J2s)in the typical gas field in Chuanxi region, this paper identifies four different facies tracts of diagenet-ic minerals in the reservoirs including chlorite ?zeolite < kaolinite, carbonate and quartz secondary outgrowth. It discusses the relationship between facies tract of diagenet-ic minerals and hydrocarbons and points out that the chlorite - zeolite facies tract is favorable in this area.
