Research and practice on low permeability oilfield well pattern form

Different method of exploitation decided different recovery rate in low permeable oil field. Jilin oil field applied reservoir engineering methods as numerical simulation, driving pressure gradient, micro seismic study in accordance with its own characteristic and practice, proposed three well patters as square, rhomb, rectangular on the principle of optimum allocation crack system, well pattern system and infusing and picking pressure system. During exploitation practice, we considered three conditions of fracture as less developed, more developing and developed and adopted square, rhomb, rectangular well patterns, which has achieved apparent effect.
