Study of influences of flow improver on flow pattern of water cut oil in pumping wells
-
Abstract
Pseudo emulsion fluid flow is a new flow phenomenon in petroleum recovery and oil and gas gathering. In comparison with conventional flow of oil-gas-water mixture, this kind of fluid flow can greatly reduce the on-way resistance and local resistance of conduit flow and improve the efficiency of well pumping unit Experiments are carried out on flow resistance of liner jacket valve, pump plunger valve and pump screen to water cut oil with different water contents and different improver concentrations. The phase conversion point of water cut oil after adding flow improver is achieved and the optimum concentration of flow improver is 0.2 mL/L.
