A study of double arc crown profile of PDC bits

Mathematical methods are used to study a common double arc crown profile of PDC bits. Taking actual design application as the starting point, calculations are performed in different situations and the effective spans of the two arc radii are achieved. They have certain guiding significances to design of PDC bits.
