Seismic facies study on Ordovician carbonate reservoirs in Hudson area

The fractured-vuggy reservoir type of carbonate rock in Hudson area very complex,with big scale changes of reservoir bodies,and the reservoirs present diversity characteristic on seismic profile.In order to make clear the seismic response characteristics and the distribution range of corresponding seismic facies towards all kinds of reservoirs,through fine calibration of drilled wells,three kinds of seismic facies of carbonate reservoirs on seismic profile have been summarized,namely beads,flake and mixed and disorderly phase.Through application of sensitive properties of three kinds of seismic facies,the reservoirs have been identified and distinguished,and the regularity and scale of all kinds of reservoirs have been predicted,which provides good guidance for well deployment and reserves calibration in the next step.
