Horsehead Design of Rotating Horsehead Pumping Unit

Formulas used to calculate the theoretical pitch line of pumping unit horsehead and two methods for computing the stroke of pumping unit are derived through geometric analysis.This paper introduces the methods to manufacture the side panels of pumping unit and the design principles of the main and auxiliary horseheads.
